Perfect lunch! Was looking for a half way point to meet my bestie for lunch and settled on L Gourmet. So glad I picked it. I had the split pea soup and she had the potato leek soup, nice sized bowls, both delicious and made on premises. I had the turkey ham and swiss panini and she had the grilled vegetable panini, both fresh and yummy. Prices were affordable, everything was clean and the employees were very polite and cheerful. Definitely going again.

We have eaten here maybe 10 times in 4 years which is not enough. Food and staff are great and it’s nice to still be able to get home made quality food in the area. The bread alone is worth going for:)

This place is absolutely terrific. Food is fresh and soups are home made. Their seeded semolina Italian Bread is from Staten Island and is so fresh and airy. Makes their sandwiches unreal!!! Also I keep reading these reviews about the owner being unfriendly. This is sooooooo far from the truth. I struck up a nice talk with her today and we spoke for over 20 minutes, being I’m also a local business owner. She couldn’t be nicer. Give this pour woman a break people. If they are busy, sometimes people have a serious look and are focused on serving the customers. They can’t always smile. Get a grip. I just found this place a few weeks ago and I can tell you!
